Political Action and Advocacy

PACE (Political Action Committee for Education) is PSEA’s dedicated fund for advocating on behalf of public education, students, and educators across Pennsylvania. As future teachers, our chapter recognizes the importance of supporting pro-education policies and candidates who prioritize strong public schools.

Through fundraising, advocacy, and political engagement, we help ensure that educators' and students' voices are heard in Harrisburg and beyond. Whether through PACE fundraisers, voter registration efforts, or advocacy events, we are committed to making a difference in the future of education policy.

Every contribution to PACE helps protect and strengthen public education—because when we stand together, we can create real change!

Pizza & Politics

Pizza & Politics, an engaging discussion on education policy and the 2024 presidential candidates—with a side of free pizza! We were honored to welcome Kim Wagner from PSEA, who provided an insightful breakdown of the candidates' stances on key education issues and how their policies could impact the future of teaching. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations about the role of politics in education. This event encouraged future educators to stay informed and involved in advocacy efforts that shape the profession. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great discussion (and great pizza)! 🍕

Dolly Parton Imagination Library

Three of our chapter members traveled to Boston, MA, to attend the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) Conference, where they had the incredible opportunity to present alongside the Little Leaders of Clarion. Their presentation focused on advocating for the statewide expansion of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program dedicated to providing free books to children from birth to age five.

Trick or Vote

This October, our chapter launched Trick or Vote, a voter registration push to ensure students were ready to make their voices heard in the upcoming election. We hung flyers in dorms and campus buildings and visited classrooms to encourage voter registration and promote the importance of civic engagement.
